This is my very first post on my blog, which I am extremely excited about as it is a beginning for my discussion and thoughts on relevant public health issues, nutrition and preventative health as well as sharing recipes and my passion for staying healthy.
Everyday we are faced with choices as to what foods and meals we consume, our activities and our attitude towards obtaining optimum health. As a Naturopath, I appreciate the therapeutic qualities of wholesome and nutritious foods and aim to spark genuine interest and educate on the importance of good nutrition and living well. In a society overwhelmed with takeaway and fast food outlets, it can be difficult not to succumb to its convenience however the rewards of eating well are endless. From glowing gorgeous skin to having good quality sleep and boundless energy, it's easy to appreciate the benefits of incorporating nutritious foods in every meal!
